You can upload photos or videos from your computer to Voicethread, or you can locate photos in their Media Sources.
All photos found via the Media Sources are copyright free and can be used in the classroom. |
Student Samples
This Voicethread was created by a kindergarten class. Students researched zoo animals, visited the zoo and drew pictures in Kidspiration of their animals. Our instructional media teacher uploaded the images and students took turns speaking/recording their fact.
This student created her drawing, snapped a picture and uploaded the picture to her Voicethread. Then, she recorded her voice.

This 5th grader wrote lyrics to show the theme in The Tale of Despereaux. He sang while his brother played guitar.
Share a Poem was created by 4th graders to celebrate National Poetry Month and to invite all Hale Kula students to read a favorite poem.
Students created PowerPoint slides and uploaded them to Voicethread. They also uploaded a short video they took and recorded their invitation to Hale Kula students. Students from 2nd-4th grade logged in and recorded their poems. This project was done during recess and in specially scheduled library visits for small groups of students. |
